How do I restart my server if it is not responding? All colocation customers have access to remote power outlets which can be used to power cycle your server using a web interface. You must set your server to power-on after a power loss in it's BIOS.
What is colocation? Colocation is the process of assembling your own hardware and renting space in our datacenters. The Ultimate Game Server offers colocation in six Carrier Class datacenters coast to coast. This is a great, cost effective method of server hosting for large clans or resellers. Your machine will be connected to Tier One Networks in each location. Please see our Why UGS page for network details.
What support do you offer for colocation customers? If there is a failure with your server, we are only a phone call away. We are capable of OS reinstalls or component replacement to quickly get you back online. We have remote hands available in all locations. Please call for current support rates.
Game Server Management
How do I access my control panel? You will receive an automated email when your game server is created with your control panel username and password. The control panel address is http://www.mygamecp.com . If you are not able to log in to your server control panl please contact us immediately for assistance from our contact page.
How do I access my server's FTP? To access FTP you will need an FTP Client such as FileZilla. Filezilla is a free, open source program and can be downloaded from http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/ .
Fill out the information at the top of FileZilla. The Address is the same as your game server's IP address (do not include the PORT) The username and password are the same as your log in information to your MyGameCP.
Why does my server say 'Disabled' after reinstalling or installing a mod? This happens when you try to install a mod or a map or have re-install your server. The control panel disables the server while a mod or map is being copied to avoid any conflicts. Should your server remain 'disabled' for more then 30 minutes, please contact us immediately via support ticket, contact form, or phone.
Garry's Mod
How do I change the game mode for my Garry's Mod server? To Set your game mode in Garry's Mod, you will need to edit the sv_defaultgamemode cvar in the server.cfg. You can access the server.cfg from the "Default Config Files" icon in your control panel. If you for instance, wanted to set the default game mode to SpaceBuild, the cvar would look like this:

I am unable to login to my web-admin panel! The most common cause of this problem is failure to include your TeamSpeak server's port in the 'port' login field. The default username and password will always be the same as your login info to MyGameCP / MyVoiceCP.
